The Social Welfare and Refugees Department is responsible for all citizens of the city of Wiesbaden who are entitled to benefits under the Social Security Code, Twelfth Part (SGB XII), as well as asylum seekers assigned to Wiesbaden, ethnic resettlers, quarters and civil war refugees. Counseling of refugees with difficulties in daily life and orientation assistance by means of language courses and other educational offerings.
