Islamische Gemeinde e.V. Moschee Omar Ibnnulkhatab

The Islamic parish was founded in April 1996 and currently counts about 130, mostly Moroccan members. At the Friday prayer the mosque reaches a visitor number of up to about 300 women and men.

Offered activities are: sports activities for adults, women receive German classes, instruction in Arabic language as well as Koran lessons

Youth group: sports activities, including football, handball, table tennis, gymnastics, swimming, hiking; Arabic exercises, teaching of the Koran; Tutoring in mathematics, German and English, regular guided tours in the mosque with discussions, especially schools.
